Eternal Eggs in Steal an Egg: All 8 Eternal Pets & Zones

Updated 2026-09-02 · Roblox Steal An Egg

Eternal is the second-highest rarity in Steal an Egg, one step below Divine and one above Secret. There are eight Eternal pets spread across seven zones: Ice Dragon (Snow), Phoenix and Lava Dragon (Volcano), El Maja (Abyss Ocean), Mosasaurus (Prehistoric), Eternal Lunar Dragon (Cosmic), Oni Tiger (Cherry Blossom) and Gorilla King (Titan Temple). Both Fandom and Eurogamer file each of them under its zone's egg pool rather than a store egg, so the route is the same every time: you reach the zone, wait for the Eternal shape to spawn, steal it and outrun the Guardian. Incomes run from $65M/s for the Ice Dragon to $880M/s for the Gorilla King.

Every Eternal pet at a glance

Base income and zone come from the Fandom pet data module. Index rewards (the one-time Speed and cash bonus for hatching a pet for the first time) come from Eurogamer.

PetZoneBase incomeIndex rewardZone Speed requirement

MosasaurusPrehistoric$180M/s+600K Speed, $18B~17,000,000 to 18,000,000

Gorilla KingTitan Temple$880M/s+5.4M Speed, $88B7,000,000,000

Two values disagree between sources. The Eternal Lunar Dragon is listed at $250M/s on Fandom and $25M/s on Eurogamer; the Fandom figure fits the rarity ladder better, but treat it as unconfirmed. The Oni Tiger is named as the Cherry Blossom Eternal in the Update 1 patch notes and on Eurogamer, but it is not yet in the Fandom pet data module, so its $600M/s is Eurogamer's figure only.

Base income is before mutations and size: final income is base income times the colour multiplier times the size multiplier.

Eternal Ice Dragon (Snow)

The Ice Dragon is the cheapest Eternal to reach. Snow unlocks at roughly 170,000 Speed and is guarded by the Yeti. It makes $65M/s, which is more than any Secret in the zones before it (the Yeti itself is $5M/s). First hatch gives +32K Speed and $6.5B.

Eternal Phoenix and Eternal Lava Dragon (Volcano)

Volcano is the only zone with two Eternals. The Phoenix earns $85M/s and the Lava Dragon $100M/s; both are far above the zone's Secret, Cerberus ($8M/s). Volcano needs about 700,000 Speed and is guarded by the Hellhound. Index rewards are +48K Speed and $8.5B for the Phoenix, +60K Speed and $10B for the Lava Dragon.

El Maja egg (Abyss Ocean)

El Maja is the Abyss Ocean Eternal and makes $130M/s. To get it you need about 2,500,000 Speed to enter Abyss Ocean, then steal the El Maja egg from a nest and escape Moby, the zone's whale-like Guardian. The Fandom Abyss Ocean page notes the zone is "considerably more difficult to escape from" than earlier zones, so aim well above the minimum Speed before carrying an Eternal-sized egg. First hatch gives +180K Speed and $13B.

Details people ask about that are not documented yet:

  • Spawn rate: neither Fandom nor Eurogamer lists a percentage for the El Maja egg or any other Eternal egg. Nests reset every 5 minutes, so the practical approach is to check Abyss Ocean each cycle.
  • "El Gran Maja": no pet with that name appears in any source. The in-game name is El Maja.
  • Egg appearance: not documented yet. Remember that egg colour does not change the pet's income; only the egg's shape tells you what is inside.

Note that Eurogamer also lists the Kraken as Eternal at $15M/s, while Fandom lists it as Secret at $15M/s. This page follows the Fandom rarity.

Mosasaurus (Prehistoric)

The Mosasaurus is the Prehistoric Eternal at $180M/s, above the T-Rex ($25M/s) and Tralaledon ($32M/s) Secrets. Prehistoric requires roughly 17 to 18 million Speed (sources disagree on the exact number) and is guarded by the T-Rex. Index reward: +600K Speed and $18B.

Eternal Lunar Dragon egg (Cosmic)

The Eternal Lunar Dragon is the Eternal that Eurogamer singles out with its own guide. The Fandom page for it says only that "this pet is extremely rare". It spawns in Cosmic, which needs 700,000,000 Speed and is guarded by a Dragon. Fandom lists its income as $250M/s; Eurogamer lists $25M/s, so the exact value is unconfirmed. Either way it sits above the Cosmic Secrets (Cosmic Dragon $60M/s, Cosmic Skeleton Boss $45M/s) and below the Divine Unicorn ($1B/s). Index reward: +1.9M Speed and $25B.

Fandom's advice for Cosmic Secret eggs applies here too: bring well over 700M Speed and reach the nest first when the server announcement appears.

Oni Tiger (Cherry Blossom)

Update 1 added Cherry Blossom with the Oni Tiger as its Eternal. Cherry Blossom needs 2,500,000,000 Speed. Eurogamer lists the Oni Tiger at $600M/s with an Index reward of +5.4M Speed and $60B. Fandom has not yet added it to the pet data module, so treat the income as community-reported, unconfirmed. Cherry Blossom also hosts the Sakura Incubator, which can apply the Bloom (x1.5) or Spirit Bloom (x2.5) mutation to a pet; see the Cherry Blossom event page.

Gorilla King (Titan Temple)

The Gorilla King is the strongest Eternal at $880M/s and arrived with Update 2 alongside Titan Temple, the current final zone. It needs 7,000,000,000 Speed, and the zone's Guardian is also a Gorilla King. Fandom describes it as "an Eternal pet that you can get from the Eternal egg in the last biome". Index reward: +5.4M Speed and $88B. Among regular zone pets, only the three Divines (Unicorn $1B/s, Kitsune $1.8B/s and Nightflame, which Fandom lists at $3B/s but still marks unconfirmed for Titan Temple) outrank it.

"Eternal Stag" money per second

There is no Eternal Stag. The Stag is the Cherry Blossom Secret and makes $145M/s. If you are comparing it against the zone's Eternal, the Oni Tiger is listed at roughly four times that.

Expired Eternal: Strawberry Elephant

The Brainrot Egg, a limited store egg, included the Strawberry Elephant. Eurogamer marks it Eternal with an Index reward of +143K Speed and $11B; Fandom files it under Event pets at $110M/s. Brainrot Eggs no longer hatch, so it is currently unobtainable outside Admin Abuse or a store rerun.

How to hunt Eternal eggs

  • Nests reset every 5 minutes and each zone only spawns its own eggs, so camp the zone whose Eternal you want.
  • Being able to enter a zone does not mean you can escape it with a large egg. Bigger eggs are heavier and slow you down. Train on the treadmill well past the requirement.
  • Watch for the server announcement when a rare egg spawns and get to the nest first; other players will try to take it from you.
  • See the tier list for where each Eternal lands and the full egg list for every other rarity.
